If you serve children or adolescent populations, this activity is a must have in your Hub. This is the most creative safety plan for your young clients with suicidal ideations. You will provide your client psycho- education about suicidal ideations and coping skills through scripted scenarios and then your client will create their own safety plan. This is activity is intended for children and adolescents but can be used for other age demographics at the therapists discretion. The resource will expand your clients knowledge about their suicidal ideations and allow them to plan use of their coping skills.

Tips for use
- Work with client through scenarios, ask them to identify which part of the map applies
- Take your client back to their most recent suicidal ideation- have them fill in map with that in mind
- Make sure client includes all hotlines and emergency contacts in their map
- role play and plan specific coping skills
