This activity is really helpful in getting to know your client’s reality versus what they desire. With this resource your client will be able to give you important information about their history, current experiences and hopes for the future. You will also be able to get a glimpse of what parts of their past they wish they could rewrite or erase. We used this activity with an adolescent client who had experienced trauma and was having difficulty being honest about it. This is a simple but helpful activity to assess your client’s history and hopes for the future.
